Freeschoolin': Life Is Learning

What does that even mean, "Life is Learning"?

Life is learning means that just by living everyday life, everyone is constantly learning.

Unfortunately we've been convinced in society that learning happens in school, with classes and instruction, not just by being alive each day. When we aren't focused on education, it happens organically.

Our Life Learning Week Hope's Fairy Godparents (our best friends) stayed with us for a few days so we got up to some serious fun. (And and of course, learning!)

We had a wonderful campfire the night they arrived and then hit up the beach the next day.

Our friends LARP (Live Action Role Play) so we put on a game of L.A.S.T. Friday (a Friday the 13thesque game) and invited another wonderful family to join us! What a blast!

They even brought the supplies to make borax-free slime, so after game the kids had a wild time sciencing together.

Finally, we got to take our besties to the farm we volunteer at, Big Curve Acres!

We also had some random fun adventures/learning experiences!

We share pictures and tell the story of how we learn from life to show others that we don't need a classroom to get a very rich education and have success in life. We don't need rules to have good relationships with our loved ones. We don't need fear to make our decisions.
