Wendy is a happily married professional illustrator, artist, musician, author, and proud Unschooling Parent of 2 amazing children, residing in rural Ontario, Canada.

 

Born in 1976, Wendy began writing and illustrating at an early age as a way to cope with her troubled childhood.

Now, Wendy and her family live on a country property where they run a mini-therapy barn, practice homesteading, and learn from every day.

Whilst watching her daughter grow and thrive in an Unschooled environment, Wendy was inspired to capture and share it with the world through a children's book series based on their Freeschoolin'/Unschooled life.

Her rich and beautiful illustrations are adeptly hand-crafted with simple mediums.
