Hello there friends!

I've taken a long break from writing as I needed, but I'm drawn to share what has been going on as I'm able.

The last year has been a whirlwind of challenges, victories, failures, joys and grief. We are all doing well and excited about the year to come. Hope is 12 now and taller than I. Still drawing nearly everyday. Still roleplaying many times a day. Loves animals, character creation and is reading fluently now.

I have plans to share videos to catch up everything and blogs to share some specific things that are happening currently so stay tuned for all of this to come.

In less than 2 weeks, you will be able to view my sessions at the 2023 Canadian Online Homeschool Conference! This is a fully online conference so all interested can attend regardless of where they are. There will be some great speakers and sessions for kids, vendors and freebies for those attending.

My Sessions

I have 2 sessions to present at the conference. One will be a read aloud of our book "Freeschoolin': The 1 Rule Of Freeschoolin' Is...There Are No Rules To Freeschoolin'!" which will come with free colouring pages just for conference goers. The other is a talk on "Making Homeschool Events" with practical information for anyone, anywhere looking for some tips on how to build local homeschool community. You can get a free or All Access Pass to enjoy the conference with and there will be a place to connect with conference goers to discuss sessions and make connections. (Affiliate Link) A free pass gets you access to the day's sessions for 24 hours and an All Access Pass is good for anytime so you can reference the sessions throughout the year. A 2023 All-Access Pass is only $17 now but the price goes up on Feb 6th to $27. You can also purchase previous year's All Access Passes for even more info from some really great speakers. Attendees have raved about this event in years past and I'm sure this year is going to be awesome!
