Last week we went to Cedar Park Resort! It's an RV and waterpark about an hour and a half from our home.
We found this place a year ago and started a 2 tier plan.
First, we budgeted and planned for a time to go. We planned out our road trip and how to manage our animals we'd have to leave behind. Once it was near the time to go, we started planning our route and our meals for the trip. 2 dates were picked so we could toggle between the two and choose the better weather day. The night before we left, we all picked out our clothes, packed everything we could and planned our breakfast. Finally it was time to travel and we used both GPS and our knowledge of the route to get there safely. It was the first road trip we'd ever taken of this kind so it was a new experience for Hope.
Our best friends/Hope's "Fairy Godparents" met us there and we had a blast!
Hope braved 2 out of the 3 awesome waterslides there, attempted her first swim test and loved getting dumped on by the giant bucket Cedar Park Resort has. (So did Freeschoolin' Daddy and I.)
Hope spent time switching between us as we split up in groups and enjoyed the park.
