Seasonschooling: Summer
Everything is green and growing!
Seasonschooling is letting the seasons dictate what areas of life we focus on and learn from.
In the Summer, our gardens are bursting with abundance and need tending to often.
The lovely weather inspires get-togethers with our Un/Homeschool Club. Our family runs a LARP production company called L.A.S.T., through which we host fun boffer games for our community.
As often as possible, we tread the waters of our favorite local beach.
We enjoy our campsite with fun fires, delicious meals and a roomy tent set up.
So much to discover and observe on our land during the Summer months.
Our favorite Summer place to be is Big Curve Acres where we happily volunteer in July and August when they are open.
Frequent heat waves made our favorite beach too crowded so we enjoyed staying home for SlipNSlide fun!
There is so much more we do and experience in the Summer, but I couldn't possibly share it all so I make sure I record in my Freeschoolin' Journal once a day to help me remember what we did and how we learned throughout the years. When we're Freeschoolin', life is learning.
All the fun we get up to enriches our minds and promotes a love of learning for the whole family. We really are #nevernotlearning!
Much Love Always, Wendy - Freeschoolin' Mommy
