We run a mini farm and there is always something new we are discovering.
This week we finished planting for the most part and we already have some crops appearing!
Our resident snapping turtle greeted us after messing around in our potato patch for the past few weeks.
River, our 22 year old rescued ex-racehorse, had his hooves trimmed recently, something we do every season or more as needed. He is barefoot, which means he does not wear horseshoes.
The warm weather has brought time for campfires, beach fun and keeping cool on the slip and slide Hope's "Fairy Godparents" got her for her birthday.
We're working hard now to get our crops growing so we can do some sightseeing, LARPing and make more amazing memories with friends. We love our Unschooling/Freeschoolin' Homestead life! Follow The Freeschoolin' Homestead on YouTube and check out the latest episode!
