Freeschoolin' On Staycation

We're on Staycation!

We run a homestead so taking a vacation isn't easy. I am a bit of a nature nut so I decided I'd like to go camping out on our land and the family chose to join me!

Our plan is to keep the camp up and stay there as often as possible, until it's too cold.

We're cooking and cleaning over an open fire, gathering firewood, learning how technology and camping go together, hiking, roleplaying, hide and seeking and so much more.

Hope LOVES the tent and we're excited to camp out with friends that are visiting this week.

Outings

We managed to volunteer at Big Curve Acres this week!

Also we hit up our local Farmer's Market, where we buy all of our meat, eggs and as much produce as possible. (Sometimes they run out before we get there.)

Freeschoolin' Daddy had a show (he is a professional wrestler) this week so Hope and I set up his merchandise table, complete with our children's book, "Freeschoolin': Life Is My School!"

After dropping him off, Hope and I did some thrift store shopping where Hope found a new stuffed Manta Ray that she is tickled pink about and I found a pair of rubber boots for me that actually fit! (It's a miracle!)
