✨Freeschoolin' Fireflies

Freeschoolin' Fireflies Article Title Page

We can't escape the magic of Freeschoolin'!

Unschooling/Freeschoolin' provides the freedom to slow down and notice the little things that make this world so beautiful.

From baking organic spelt chocolate chip cookies with local flour sourced from our friends at Earth Valley Organics, to flower picking every morning, there is no shortage of fantastical moments.

Organic Spelt Cookies and Picked Flowers

Every night for almost 2 weeks, Hope has slept in the tent with myself or Jaze, falling into slumber while Daddy reads The Hobbit aloud. This means all our family has had a chance to see the incredible light show that the fireflies perform nightly. They get temporarily stuck in between the fly and roof of our tent and we watch them from the windows.

Our campsite on our land

We've enjoyed organic Nice Cream cones, harvesting organic radishes we planted from Earth Valley Organics seeds and planting organic, clay-bombed carrot seeds that our amazing Unschooling friends gifted us, since the birds ate our seeds.

Hope made our 24 year old rescue horse, River, a snapdragon, clover, grass, apple and carrot salad which he thoroughly enjoyed!

There was dancing in the rain, bike riding and butterfly sightings.

Without a schedule or rules to hold us down, we are Freeschoolin' our entire lives and it is absolutely breathtaking to behold.
