Freeschoolin' A Wedding!

We attended our first wedding as a family this Weekend!

We were invited by beloved unschooling friends to join them in celebrating their union and we were so excited!!!

It was in Parry Sound, which is about an hour and a half away from us so we packed up for a road trip! We had to drive through a storm but we were determined to make it!

When we arrived at the designated parking lot, we were well past the time we should have been there so we were a little worried we'd missed the wedding! A limousine bus took us to the location about 2 minutes away where we discovered the ceremony was running a bit late, much to our delight!

We dropped off our gift (I did a professional heart felt drawing for their family) and signed the guest book. It wasn't long after we arrived that the wedding began.

The ceremony was beautiful, the weather was perfect and our friends looked absolutely magical.

Hope's favorite part was their sweet dogs that roamed freely throughout the property, eager for pets and love. Afterward we played games, took a tour of the property and visited their goats!

Dinner was incredible and full of healthy and organic options!

We danced and spent time with our beloved friends.

This Week Hope's Fairy Godparents stayed over this week and we had lots of fun together! Our car needed repairing (thanks so much Craft Auto!) so we hit up the waterfront together while waiting. We took them to Big Curve Acres and brought home Pumba overnight for some extra fun. We ate fire cooked burgers and roleplayed by the fire with organic s'mores. We always have a great time adventuring with them! Hope also turned her saved up change into bills at the bank and bought some things with her money.
