Freeschoolin' In February
We have had tons of fun Unschooling/Freeschoolin' this month!
Hope got a new bike from her Grand this past weekend! (Her paternal great grandmother) The first ride was cold but Hope was a trooper and with Daddy helping, it was a success! She did fall but she got back up and is enthusiastic about riding again.
However it snowed last night so we'll have to wait till it melts again.
We had breakfast out ( a rare treat ) at the Barrie Farmer's Market in City Hall. They sell all natural sausages on organic buns that we all enjoy and boy did we! Hope wanted to explore and she also picked out a bag of organic apples for herself while I priced things for a future shop at the market. This month we've been painting, crafting, recovering from being sick, playing in the snow, baking, reading, doing math, colouring and writing. We also released our NEW book, Life Is My School; the first in the Freeschoolin' Children's Book Series. Hope observed Daddy and I working on it and she was inspired to start creating her own book. She's been doing art and brainstorming with us on her first books content. Check out our latest Freeschoolin' Homestead Episode and this months Photo Gallery below!

It never ceases to amaze me how corrupted our view was regarding learning. Every day of Freeschoolin' I see more evidence that humans were meant to learn from life. Not go to a place everyday to learn. No curriculum necessary. No rules needed. Just loving boundaries, respectful relationships and a passion for learning!
Thanks for joining us on our journey! Much love Always, Wendy - Freeschoolin' Mommy
